The elephant population in Tanzania has declined massively since the 1970s. In search of usable land, farmers are expanding into elephant territories. This leads to conflicts between elephants and humans, resulting in casualties on both sides.
In their tenth mission, Planet Wild is protecting the elephants in Tanzania — using a fascinating fact about elephants that few people know about and with the help of the small but mighty honeybee. Credit for the amazing solution portrayed in this video goes to Lucy King, who pioneered the concept. We hope many more will follow her example.
