I found the original post and this video on Crooks and Liars. The absolute hubris of this guy is breathtaking. I guess we peons have no right to water, we need him and the great Nestlé Corporation to control it and portion it out to us – at a cost. My sentiments are with this guy:
Boycott nestle, and if you ever come across this fucker in the desert dying of thirst, remind him “it’s not a right”, then dump your canteen out in front of him, and leave his ass to die.
Another commenter points out that much of the water supply in the US has already been privatized:
This video vividly shows how big corporations have consolidated and monopolized the workforce and the market. Privatizing water under corporate control is already widespread in America by the exponentially increasing creation of public-private-partnerships (PPP’s). These PPP’s are thinly veiled government take-overs by big corporations, such as Nestle, Monsanto, etc .
